There are actually 2 of these tables. On both tables the tops split in shipping when we moved to New Zealand. 

The tile I used here is actually shower tile but I love the droplet-shaped tiles and it turned out well for a table top.  The copper band pulled the project together but its not just for show. It is also covering up the tile edge which would have been impossible to grout.
